Basilicata, Italy | Craco Ruins
The clips used in this production were captured entirely using perspectiveAerials' Canon DSLR aerial camera platform equipped with Canon 5D and 7D HD-DSLR cameras during production of a soon to be released film shot in Basilicata, Italy at the Craco ruins. This magnificent ruin is not only an amazing shooting location but also holds an incredible history reaching back as far as 540AD. A few scenes in Mel Gibson's "The Passion of the Christ" were shot at this very location. While filming at this site our compact aerial camera platform served as a boom, crane, dolly as well as an aerial camera.
Trakker Quarry Truck Commercial | Carrara, Tuscany, Italy
An Italian truck manufacturer utilized our HD aerial tool during production of a commercial to promote a newly manufactured marble quarry truck. Shot on location at the Michelangelo Marble Quarries in Carrara, Tuscany, Italy.

Michelangelo Marble Quarry - Carrara, Tuscany, Italy | HD Drone Video Tool
The footage in this production was used in a promo commercial for a newly produced Italian made quarry truck. 99.8% of this production was captured with a compact, hand-launched aerial camera platform equipped with a 'Flight Head' style 3-axis stabilized camera gimbal fitted with a Canon 5D Mark II HD-DSLR camera. The following production clearly demonstrates the unlimited possibilities of this compact tool.
Where cranes are limited in range, our tool has the same extremely smooth dynamic crane & gimbal pan/tilt movement plus the added ability to capture footage from 2 feet up to 300 feet in a single shot with untethered freedom of movement around an object...an impossible task for cranes. The stress, hassle and high cost associated with bringing in big heavy production equipment were eliminated. As demonstrated in the following video a separate camera gimbal operator was used to track shots by viewing (in real-time) a wireless video feed while remotely controlling the camera gimbal's 360-degrees of rotation and 180-degrees of tilt.

Jared Evan Video Shoot
The 5D Mark II HD aerial camera platform was used entirely indoors during the Jared Evan video shoot. The
compact size and flexibility made it an invaluable tool. We were able to capture very smooth dolly shots as well
as impossible to get crane and boom shots. Because of the limited space inside this structure it would have been
impossible to capture this type of footage using conventional cranes & booms or any other articulating
video production tool. This entire production was captured with Canon 5D Mark II cameras.

GPS Autonomous Position Hold
Here we demonstrate the HD aerial camera platform's autonomous GPS position hold capability. If you can imagine
the ability to fly a professional DSLR camera such as the 5D Mark II over a natural disaster site, switch on GPS position
hold which forces the aerial camera platform to hold its exact aerial position in the sky allowing a photo journalist
to focus on capturing
photos at a safe distance out of harms way

Weddings Recently we were given the opportunity to capture video during a wedding held at a Long Island vineyard. Yet another opportunity for us to demonstrate the flexibility of our compact DSLR aerial camera platform. This entire video production was captured with the Canon 5D Mark II. Due to time constraints we were allowed a small window of approximately 5 minutes of aerial playtime, with that said, it's still quite clear to see the unlimited potential of our compact HDDSLR aerial platform.

Gimbal
This German engineered remotely operated camera platform was constructed around the Canon 5D Mark II and similar size DSLR camera bodies. The goal was to keep the platform compact yet powerful. With a 4.5 pound payload capacity and the ability to be collapsed and stowed in a custom military case or duffle in minutes, we've produced an innovative HD aerial camera-ship.
